Job description

A highly motivated professional is required to drive business process efficiency and optimize organizational performance.

This role will lead the organization's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program, focusing on IT systems, processes, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of program management expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities include :

  • Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and methodologies
  • Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls over areas such as access management, change management, system operations, and data backup / recovery
  • Managing communication with internal and external audit functions, as well as other stakeholders
  • Developing and delivering SOX IT compliance training and awareness programs for IT staff and other IT Control owners

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of related experience, including a university degree or college diploma in Business, Finance, and Accounting or Computer disciplines.

Required qualifications include :

  • Demonstrated ability to create value through business process reengineering and optimization
  • Experience working with IT functions and business areas, understanding the use of technology at a company level as well as business principles
  • Strong capabilities in facilitating cross-functional teams, project management, quality assurance, risk management, financial accounting, relationship management, and change management
  • Strong understanding of SOX requirements, IT General Controls (ITGCs), and risk management principles

This position requires strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, motivational, organizational, and planning skills. The ability to work independently with minimum supervision is also essential.
