In This Role, You Will

  • Implement and maintain safe work practices for areas owned
  • Maintain legal compliance by adhering to regulations set out by New Brunswick Safety Code Services for all pressure vessels and pressure piping systems
  • Comply with all Chief Engineer duties as outlined in the act
  • Provide support to maintenance and planning departments for the refining and RMS areas
  • Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all steam generators and associated equipment throughout the mill
  • Oversee the Refining area Chemistry (treatment, analysis), Boiler, Cooling Towers and glycol system
  • Be responsible for all system procedures, safety practices, work orders pertaining to the Refining area and RMS area
  • Provide shutdown and outages support and assistance with process problems on 24hour basis
