Job summary

Rise Air in Saskatchewan is seeking a Chief Pilot (703/704) in La Ronge to lead our operations and ensure compliance, safety, and operational readiness. You will oversee pilots, training, and scheduling in a dynamic northern environment.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive PIC experience, and the ability to qualify as PIC on Rise Air aircraft, with a focus on safety and regulatory adherence. This is a full‑time, on‑site position.

Qualifications

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL-A).
• PPC on CAR 704 aircraft is required.
• Total flight time of 4000 hours with 2000 hours multi-engine PIC and 1000 hours turbine.
• Minimum 3 years' PIC experience on CAR 703/704 aircraft.
• Ability to qualify as PIC on Rise Air aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support pilots across 703 and 704 operations.
• Oversee operational standards, regulatory compliance and flight crew procedures.
• Provide oversight of pilot training, qualifications, development and operational readiness.
• Support pilot recruitment, staffing, scheduling and operational planning.
• Provide coaching and address pilot performance and operational matters as required.
• Champion a strong safety culture and actively support our Safety Management System.
• Maintain flying currency and fly the line as operationally required.
