As the Overall Responsible Operator (ORO) for North Perth’s Water and Wastewater Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of essential services to our growing community. Reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, the Chief Operator provides on-site leadership, technical direction, and operational oversight to the Utility Foreperson and Utility Operators. You will help lead a skilled team while ensuring our water supply and distribution systems and wastewater treatment and collection systems are operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.
This is an on-site operational leadership position.Work is primarily based out of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, with attendance at various worksites located throughout North Perth. This is an ideal opportunity if you enjoy being connected to the work, the team, and the community.
