Nationex is looking for a results-oriented and attentive individual for the position of Chief Supervisor of Day Operations. Reporting to our Regional Director of Operations, the person holding this role will be in charge of managing the sorting and delivery team of our depots in central Quebec.

Your responsibilities

  • Acts as an ambassador for our culture, our Gestionex management standard and our Force N values (Flexibility, Customer-Oriented, Reinvented, Collaboration and Commitment).
  • Ensures the health and safety of employees and the legal compliance of operations at all times by being a role model for employees. He respects the rules in place at all times and wears the required protective equipment.
  • Support operations supervisors for the efficient start of day operations.
  • Take care of customer requests from customer service.
  • Be available to travel to the various depots to provide support, meet the needs of the teams and follow up on procedures to optimize performance.
  • Establish and maintain quality processes for parcel delivery according to the national standards established by the Management Committee.
  • Follow the process of the customer package journey to ensure traceability at all times.
  • Maintaining relationships of trust with the various internal and external partners.
  • Establish the budgetary requirements of its deposits to facilitate the financial forecasting of the operations department.
  • Participate in the various projects or initiatives of the operations team in order to be involved in continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain a staffing structure to be effective in meeting operational needs.
  • Maintaining healthy relationships that promote the performance and commitment of the employees under his or her responsibility.
  • Work in collaboration with the Human Resources department in recruitment, skills development, engagement and performance management.

If you have the following qualifications, we want you on our team:

  • College or university degree in operations or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent role
  • Good knowledge of the legislation in force in the transport industry.
