Job Description

Education:

Tasks:

  • Write articles meant for the general public about wellness issues
  • Provide advice to senior managers and officials
  • Maintain, update and manage health information databases
  • Produce reports
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Monitor health care programs
  • Present the views of an association or organization to members, the media and the general public
  • Organize conferences and meetings
  • Conduct interviews
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Act as liaison within the organization between staff and management around wellness issues
  • Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs
  • Develop policies, standards and guidelines
  • Co-ordinate multidisciplinary projects
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
  • Monitor and compile research results
  • Monitor and evaluate

Experience:

  • 1 to less than 7 months

Support for Persons with Disabilities:

  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Youths:

  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
