Relocation Required : This position requires relocation to Las Vegas, Nevada . Full support for relocation will be provided by the company.

Compensation : $125,000 – $175,000 USD per year

Performance Bonus : 5% of annual net profits

Additional Benefit : Full relocation support (temporary housing and initial transportation)

Languages Required : Fluency in English and Spanish

About the Company

The Opportunity

This is more than an operations role. We're looking for someone with a CEO mindset , ready to lead with strategic vision, execute with excellence, and build a high-impact business. You’ll serve as the right hand to the founder, with full ownership of operations and a clear path toward becoming CEO in the short to medium term.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Execute and expand the founder’s vision to scale a global healthy food business
  • Lead cross-functional strategy across manufacturing, distribution, retail, innovation, and branding
  • Accelerate growth through national retailers (Costco, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Target, etc.)

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee production facilities in Las Vegas and Gridley
  • Set and track KPIs across production, quality, logistics, R&D, and finance
  • Ensure top performance of all plant operations and technical teams
  • Manage P&L, cash flow, and capital allocation
  • Lead fundraising and financial negotiations when needed
  • Improve cost efficiency through lean operations and vertical integration

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, Organic, Non-GMO, Prop 65, and other certifications
  • Oversee food safety programs, traceability, audits, CAPAs, and SOPs
  • Manage supplier qualification and third-party documentation
  • Lead broker networks, pricing strategies, category management, and key account relationships
  • Expand partnerships with major distributors (e.g., UNFI, Tony’s Fine Foods)
  • Oversee private label contract negotiations with large retailers

Brand & Marketing

  • Guide brand strategy and growth for owned brands
  • Support social media, trade shows, influencer marketing, and campaign execution
  • Ensure consistent delivery of the company’s “better-for-you” message across all channels
  • Hire, manage, and mentor plant managers, sales directors, QA leads, and marketing teams
  • Build a performance-driven culture grounded in accountability, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Foster leadership development and alignment with strategic objectives

Business Development

  • Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships, co-manufacturing deals, and retailer collaborations
  • Represent the company in meetings with investors, buyers, and other key stakeholders
  • Provide decisive leadership during moments of change or growth

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 10+ years in executive leadership within the CPG or food industry (required)
  • Proven experience managing operations across multiple plants with 100+ employees
  • Track record in scaling consumer food brands across categories (e.g., frozen, snacks, baked goods)

Skills

  • Strong financial acumen (budgets, forecasts, EBITDA analysis)
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with automation, ERP systems (Odoo is a plus), and large-scale production
  • Exceptional negotiation and partnership-building skills with retailers and distributors

Languages

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with long-term strategic vision
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build and empower strong teams
  • Results-driven and data-oriented
  • Strong ethical foundation and people-first leadership approach
