As a result of sustained growth, BOYNECLARKE is recruiting a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work closely with the CEO & Managing Partner, Management Team, and Executive Committee to support the firm’s growth, sustainability, and client service excellence. The COO is a key contributor to the firm and oversees administration, brand marketing, finances, people & culture, technology infrastructure, and facilities. A proactive and personable leader and coach, the COO promotes a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement. The COO anticipates and plans for the firm’s evolving needs and ensures the structures, technology, and resources are in place for growth. They are a culture builder and ensure the firm is proactive in achieving its fiscal and business objectives. The COO is a self-starter, thoughtful, and proactive, adding value to the firm’s overall ability to deliver high-quality legal work and client service excellence.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years’ experience as a senior leader within a corporate or professional services firm environment, with business acumen, overseeing operations. The COO is a respected strategic leader with superior communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. They have proficiency in technology and information systems. Knowledge of legal industry trends and regulations and experience with a law firm or professional services organization is an asset.
