Position Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key executive leader at Rennaï, responsible for ensuring that strategy turns into action and results. Focused on operational excellence, this role is accountable for elevating store performance, optimizing the end-to-end customer experience, and ensuring every aspect of the business runs with precision and discipline.
With deep expertise in retail operations, especially within luxury or multi-brand environment, the COO leads with urgency and clarity to strengthen service standards, drive sales, and deliver meaningful results. Working closely with the President & Chief Creative Officer, the COO is a driving force behind the growth of Rennaï’s in-store experience, the performance of its people, and the realization of its brand vision.

Responsibilities
Elevate Store Operations to Drive Sales & Service
- Own and optimize all aspects of in-store operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience that leads to increased conversion, retention, and sales.
- Partner with sales and service leadership to improve team performance, service standards, and executional excellence on the floor.
- Champion consistency in operational execution across departments, locations, and customer touchpoints.
Lead Strategy Execution Across Functions
- Translate company vision into executable, measurable initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Build operational rhythms that create accountability, alignment, and clarity across teams.
- Ensure that all strategic projects-from in-store experience to systems upgrades-land successfully, on time and within scope.
Strengthen Results-Driven Operational Performance
- Foster a data-driven culture focused on KPIs, conversion rates, team productivity, inventory accuracy, and service utilization.
- Build visibility and discipline into weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews, with clear action plans for improvement.
- Identify and remove barriers to store performance, with a constant lens on improving outcomes and guest satisfaction.
Improve Efficiency, Margin, and Financial Discipline
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Finance to monitor and improve margin performance, staff productivity, and cost control.
- Ensure labor planning, scheduling, inventory, and in-store systems are optimized to reduce friction and improve flow.
- Deliver operational insights and strategic recommendations that help the company meet its EBITDA goals.
Build for Growth and Future Scale
- Design scalable systems and SOPs that support new store openings and service expansion without compromising brand or service quality.
- Develop operational leaders across store and corporate teams, with a focus on execution, accountability, and team development.
- Ensure infrastructure investments in technology, logistics, and people are ROI-positive and future-proof.
Skills And Experience You Will Need
- 10+ years in senior leadership roles within multi-brand or luxury retail, with proven oversight of store operations, cross-functional teams, and business execution.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end retail value chain, including sales, service, inventory, technology, staffing, and customer experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading through change and scaling a retail business, ideally within a founder-led or entrepreneurial environment.
- Solid operator with a track record of building systems, processes, and accountability frameworks that drive performance.
- Financial fluency with the ability to collaborate on budgeting, profitability, and key operational levers.
- Experienced in managing and influencing cross-functional teams and direct reports, with a leadership style rooted in trust, clarity, and coaching.
- Comfortable with high visibility - engaging with investors, executive partners, and team members at all levels.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution - comfortable in boardrooms and on the sales floor.

- Have an MBA or advanced degree.
- Are an exceptional organized and action-oriented, with a bias for clarity, follow-through, and resolution
- Bilingual in French and English strongly preferred.
