Position Overview
Title: Chief Marketing Officer (NOC: 00012)
Vacancies: 1
Type: Permanent, Full-time (30 hours/week), Overtime available
Location: Unit 1201-700 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1G8, Canada
Compensation: $102.00 per hour
Language: English

Key Responsibilities
-Formulate marketing strategy with upper management, to drive brand adoption and communicate value.
-Allocate and control financial, human, and material resources to execute marketing strategies.
-Establish key marketing teams and projects, ensuring the recruitment and development of marketing managers, empowering them with the authority and resources.
-Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks, informing the company's strategic direction.
-Work closely with upper management in the planning and implementation of key initiatives, recommending required focus areas and prioritization of objectives.
-Plan and execute effective integrated marketing plans (through both online and offline programs) to capture mind share, market share and conversions.
-Represent the company in key marketing negotiations, partnerships, speaking engagements, and participate in industry events.
-Oversee the processes that ensure all marketing materials comply with financial regulations and data protection laws applicable to the payment technology industry.
-Manage key corporate communications, ensuring that they accurately reflect leadership priorities and timely execution.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams and department heads to align strategic initiatives with operational functions.
-Represent the CEO in high-level meetings, providing thorough follow-up and keeping the executive team informed of critical issues and outcomes.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
-At least 5 years of relevant working experience in all-rounded marketing/strategic planning, project management, ideally within payment industry
-Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that impact business growth and client satisfaction
-A visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate future trends and develop long-term strategic plans
-Proven track record in team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration
-Strong communication skills with a charismatic and engaging personality
-Ability to present effectively at high-level meetings and industry conferences
-Proficiency in using data analytics tools and interpreting complex data sets
-Experience in data-driven decision making with the ability to translate complex market insights into actionable strategies
-Knowledge of payment technology and cross-border payment services
-Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in the payments industry
-Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
-Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and marketing methodologies in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape
