Job description

In addition to the recruitment for the CEO, Massey Henry is pleased to support the search for the inaugural Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) on behalf of the Building Ontario Fund (“BOF”). BOF is a new, independent, board‐governed, crown agency that will enable public-sector pension plans, other trusted institutional investors, and Indigenous communities to further participate in large-scale infrastructure projects across the province.

Reporting to the CEO, the CIO is responsible for developing and overseeing the BOF's investment strategy and effectively allocating risk amongst the entity and other investors. With exposure across the financial services and/or infrastructure industries and government organizations, the CIO brings a deep understanding of the Canadian infrastructure sector and extensive knowledge of investment and risk management, capital markets, securities analysis, and asset allocation.
