Our construction client in the Montreal East End is seeking a visionary CFO to join their executive team and drive financial excellence. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and ensuring the organization's fiscal health. You will be responsible for cost flow management, project accounting, and overseeing financial operations across various divisions.

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals
• Conduct analysis and forecasting to drive performance and identify opportunities
• Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency
• Manage risk, compliance, and internal controls to safeguard asset
• Lead capital management decisions and evaluate investment opportunities
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor

About You

The successful candidate will have the following :

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred
• Proven CFO or senior financial leadership experience, preferably in construction / manufacturing
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations
• Extensive experience with cost flow management
• Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and contribute to overall business strategy and growth initiatives
• Experience in project accounting
