A long-standing company based in Nashville, TN is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for leading all financial operations, ensuring strong fiscal management, and supporting long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in all things Accounting and Finance with a hands-on leadership style.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Financial OversightPartner with the CEO and executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business objectives.Monitor key financial metrics and operational indicators to guide business decisions.Drive financial modeling, scenario planning, and capital deployment strategies.Act as a strategic advisor to ownership regarding business expansion, investment structuring, and risk mitigation.Accounting & Financial ReportingDirect and manage all accounting functions including general ledger, A / P, A / R, and fixed assets.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.Manage annual audits and ensure all financial records are audit-ready.Maintain and improve financial reporting systems, dashboards, and metrics.Treasury & Capital ManagementManage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and working capital strategies.Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital raise processes.Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term capital strategies.Investor RelationsOversee investor reporting including capital call notices, fund distributions, and quarterly investor communications.Ensure transparent, timely, and accurate communication with limited partners and stakeholders.Support due diligence for potential investors and capital partners.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and grow the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.Implement scalable financial systems, policies, and procedures to support rapid growth.Provide mentorship and development for team members to improve capabilities and succession planning.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to tax, regulatory, and financial reporting standards.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on entity structuring and reporting obligations.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Big 4 accounting firm experience highly desirable.
