The Opportunity :
The Ontario Dental Association (ODA) is seeking a visionary and technically grounded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead Finance, IT, and Property through a pivotal period of transformation, modernization, and strategic growth.
With over 10,000 members and a 150+ year legacy, the ODA is a trusted voice in health advocacy and professional leadership, and sound stewardship. As we implement our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, the CFO will be instrumental in aligning financial stewardship with enterprise resilience, digital transformation, and member value.
This is more than a finance role—it’s a chance to shape how plans are resourced, measured, and delivered at scale.

As a core member of the Executive Team, the CFO shapes strategy, ensures financial integrity, and cultivates a risk-aware, opportunity-focused culture.
The CFO reports directly to the CEO and serves as the primary financial advisor to the Audit Finance and Risk Board Committee, the Board of Directors, attending all AFRC and Board meetings and supporting financial oversight, enterprise planning, ODA investments and fiscal stewardship. You understand how to partner with Boards, steward constrained resources, and lead change with clarity, accountability, and trust. We need you to bring a business-oriented lens to financial strategy—linking data-driven insights to enterprise decision-making, while championing initiatives that drive revenue enhancement, cost efficiency, and long-term value creation.
