Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management role.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and capital assets.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, consolidations, budgets, and forecasts.
• Identify, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in business growth and strategic planning.
• Manage relationships with financial partners and ensure financial compliance.
• Manage cash flow and capital planning to support ongoing operations.
• Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Review and improve the ERP processes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and reporting standards.
• Prepare for year-end audit.
• Recruit, train, hire, and mentor new staff members, as necessary.

MacDougall Steel Erectors Inc. (MSE) located in Borden PE, with sites across Canada, is an industry leader in the fabrication and installation of both structural steel and miscellaneous metals. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. The CFO reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and capital assets.
