Invest Ontario is the dedicated partner for businesses seeking to expand and grow in the province. Serving as a one-window gateway to Ontario, Invest Ontario was established to streamline the journey for investors by helping them navigate government programmes, find suitable sites for their projects, and access funding through the Invest Ontario Fund.

Since its inception in 2020, Invest Ontario has positioned Ontario as a premier investment destination. The agency is composed of a diverse team of leaders and staff from industry, finance, consulting, and economic development backgrounds, working to support business needs and act as the nexus between the private sector and government.

Role Overview: Chief Executive Officer

The CEO will lead a dedicated team to meet the needs of high-value investors by identifying and cultivating potential investments, providing executive investor services, developing sector-specific investment strategies, and offering customized support to investors. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the overall management of Invest Ontario, focusing on securing domestic and international investments that align with the government’s economic development priorities.

The CEO will focus on sectors such as advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and technology, working closely with domestic and international partners interested in establishing or expanding operations in Ontario.
