The Opportunity

BackStretch Recruitment is working with our client to find their inaugural CEO. This is a rare chance to step into the top role of a niche, high-margin company that’s primed for breakout growth.

A science-backed product line, with proven success in international markets, strong recurring revenue and profitability, the groundwork is in place, now we’re looking for a CEO to turn traction into scale.

With US EPA, Heath Canada and EU registrations in place, you’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, expand into untapped markets, build out a high-performing team, and elevate the company’s visibility with investors and partners. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building and who sees the upside in transforming a strong foundation into something exceptional.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead overall company strategy and execution with a strong focus on sales growth, distribution partnerships, and new market development.
  • Activate underutilized regions where regulatory approval already exists.
  • Build and lead a lean, agile team with a performance-oriented culture.
  • Represent the company to stakeholders and potential investors.
  • Prepare the business for public market entry.

About you:

You are a commercially minded leader with experience scaling a technical or product-based business. You thrive in dynamic, hands-on environments and are comfortable owning the P&L while building the team beneath you.

You bring:

  • A track record of driving sales and revenue opportunities through distributor or channel models.
  • Strong people leadership and financial acumen; you know how to put together and deliver on a budget.
  • Willingness to travel for business development and international partner management.
  • Proven success in markets involving wholesale and channel partners

Ideal, yet not required:

  • Operational leadership experience in a regulated or science-backed industry (e.g. agri-tech, biotech, industrial products, water treatment, chemicals).
  • Worked with a company that has transitioned from private to public and been involved with key decision makers throughout

Work Site & Compensation:
