Job summary

Canadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp. in Regina is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, service and repair of all equipment and process systems in the plant.

You will lead boiler operations, preventive maintenance, and a skilled maintenance team, ensuring regulatory compliance and uninterrupted production. The role demands initiative and strong teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• 4th Class Power Engineer certification required to operate the 750 kW boiler.
• Experience performing industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical codes, diagrams and manuals.
• Knowledge of motor controls, inverters, drives and safety procedures.
• Experience managing a maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance for plant operations.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment and boiler system.
• Set maintenance schedules and supervise technicians.
• Monitor energy use and optimize plant performance.
• Hire, train and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with contractors for major repairs and inspections.
