Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/training in computer science, IT, cyber security or related field.
• 5+ years in IT and information governance with focus on cybersecurity and records retention.
• Strong understanding of legal/regulatory requirements for information management, cybersecurity, and records retention.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for information management strategies.
• Extensive experience in IT and information security research and advisory roles, preferably at senior executive level.
• Experience preparing written opinions, memoranda and reports.
• Understanding of judicial independence and political acumen for discretion and diplomacy in justice administration.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to meet responsibilities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with MS Office and online legal research databases; knowledge of JUDICLOUD and/or PowerBI is a plus.
• Stakeholder engagement with judiciary, court admins, justice partners, central gov IT, and external bodies.
• Represent the Courts in inter-jurisdictional and government tech forums.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide written opinions, memoranda and reports as needed.
• Represent the Courts in inter-jurisdictional and government tech forums.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Work on-site as a mandatory requirement.
• Provide criminal record check and security clearance.
• Execute an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality for all information accessed.
