National Bank of Canada seeks a Senior Director, NBFWM Compliance, to lead Wealth Management Compliance. You will supervise three teams across investigations, reviews, surveillance and QA, partnering with senior executives to manage regulatory risks and growth.

You will engage with regulators, guide strategic initiatives and advance the compliance program with innovative technologies while balancing business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; professional designation is an asset.
• 10+ years in securities or risk management with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of wealth management and investment dealer activities.
• Experience managing regulatory matters and engaging with authorities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and exercise strategic judgment.

Aufgaben

• Lead first- and second-line compliance teams and investigations.
• Advise senior management and liaison with NBFWM executives on regulatory matters.
• Represent NBFWM before regulators and lead complex regulatory initiatives.
• Support transformation projects with rigorous risk management.
• Collaborate with Legal Affairs to resolve regulatory issues.
• Modernize the compliance program using data and AI.
• Foster a pragmatic, value-creating compliance culture.
