Job summary

National Bank of Canada seeks a Chief Advisor, Financial Performance Management for Commercial Banking Ontario. You will act as a strategic finance partner to client-facing teams, advising regional leadership and guiding financial planning, performance reviews, and governance processes across products and clients.

You’ll coordinate budgeting and forecasting efforts, analyze performance trends, and collaborate to create executive presentations.

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in financial analysis, performance management, financial forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Have experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in interpreting complex financial data and formulating business recommendations.
  • Be proficient with business intelligence, data visualization, and modern analytical tools.
  • Experience in accounting is considered an asset.
