  • Execute the F2026 GSIB revamped reporting process from data request to MD&A preparation.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies and automation in GSIB reporting.

Job Description

The ESG Finance team partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide thought leadership and advocacy on sustainability-related financial reporting. The team has recently expanded its mandate to include other regulatory projects and filings, such as coordination of the OSFI assurance project and GSIB regulatory reporting process.

Key Focus Areas
  • Establishing governance and internal controls for GSIB reporting process
  • Coordinate the control remediation work identified for the GSIB process in F2027
  • Execution of the F2026 GSIB production process
Co‑op / Internship Program

Co‑op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across several of the businesses at TD. Job Responsibilities
  • Supporting the team with updating GSIB related SOPs and other documentation, including any additional work identified in GSIB PIR
  • Execute on the F2026 GSIB revamped reporting process from end to end, starting with the issuance of the data request templates from various data providers within TD to the preparation of the Q1 2027 MD&A
  • Seek and execute any efficiencies and automation with the current G‑SIB reporting process
Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the end of your work term (requirement of all co‑op/intern positions)
  • You are enrolled or plan on pursuing your CPA designation OR are committed to pursuing a career in Finance Transformation
  • You demonstrate both financial acumen combined with a strong orientation toward curiosity, innovation, and problem‑solving
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word
  • Must be detailed oriented and quick to apply new concepts
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders at various levels of seniority
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships with cross‑functional teams and business partners
  • Ability to operate as a working lead on initiatives as assigned
  • High personal standards for quality and accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multiple tasks and adapt well to changing priorities
  • Proactive and highly motivated individual who will take the initiative and who can work independently and in a team environment
Additional Information – Work Term Details

This position is a 4‑month work term and will commence January 4th to April 23rd, 2027.

Eligibility & Location Requirements

TD requires employees to reside in the country where the role is located, irrespective of remote working arrangements. As such, work location and start dates are subject to change.
