We’re Hiring: Chief Accountant

Responsibilities / Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and present financial reports, offering actionable insights and recommendations to managerial staff.
  2. Provide strategic advice on investment opportunities and financial plans.
  3. Safeguard the financial health of the organization through effective monitoring and management.
  4. Evaluate costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and overall performance compared to business objectives.
  5. Identify financial trends and develop forward-looking projections.
  6. Conduct in-depth reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  7. Direct the operations of the finance department, establishing objectives and creating frameworks to achieve them.
  8. Lead the preparation and management of the company’s budget.
  9. Collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate financial monitoring and compliance.
  10. Coordinate with other departments to align company strategies and future initiatives.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Proven experience in a Financial Manager role or similar position.
  2. Background in financial analysis or related roles in the financial sector.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of financial trends within the company and broader market conditions.
  4. Proficiency in financial software applications.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to guide and lead teams to uphold effective financial processes.
  7. Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  8. Familiarity with statutory legislation and regulations.
  9. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
  10. Professional qualifications such as CPA are highly desirable.
