Job summary

National Carwash Solutions seeks a Chemical Technician/Sales to work with car wash owners to optimize facility performance. You will conduct site assessments, respond to wash-quality issues, and assist in installing chemical delivery systems.

In sales, you will develop pipelines, qualify prospects, and craft value propositions to win new chemical accounts. You will report progress weekly and comply with safety standards across provinces.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Clean driving record with limited violations within the past 5 years.
• Willingness to travel several times during the month.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Basic proficiency in Excel is expected.
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on NCS cleaning solutions and their performance in professional car wash equipment.
• Provide technical expertise in delivery and usage of NCS products and position the brand as a market leader.
• Assess wash processes and optimize water, chemical and equipment interaction for a clean result.
• Measure and adjust chemical delivery systems and troubleshoot wash components.
• Explain observations and recommendations to car wash owners and managers.
• Build reports to document work for site owners and track progress.
• Identify priorities, set goals, and drive them to completion.
• Develop sales pipelines to prospect and win new chemical accounts.
• Provide technical assistance during chemical transitions with customers.
• Report weekly progress on your pipeline and activities.
• Comply with OHSA, ESA and company safety policies.

Job Summary: As a Chemical Technician/Sales, you will work with automatic and tunnel car wash owners to make their facilities operate at peak efficiency. One day you might be doing site assessment; other days you might be reacting to wash quality complaints or helping install new chemical delivery systems. In the sales side of your role, you will prospect and win new chemical accounts by developing sales pipelines, determining likely prospects, and creating value propositions.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for becoming an expert on all NCS cleaning solutions and how they will perform when utilized in all types of professional car wash equipment found in the marketplace today
• Provides professional and technical expertise in the delivery and usage of NCS products. Knows how to position the NCS brand as the leader in the marketplace and the best car wash solutions on the market
• Assess the full wash process, looking at how the water, chemical and equipment work together in harmony to produce a clean car
• Measure and adjust chemical delivery systems, and troubleshoot wash components
• Work with car wash owners and managers to explain your observations, actions, and recommendations
• Build reports to follow up and document your work for the site owners
• Identify priorities, set goals, and make them happen
• Prospect and win new chemical accounts by developing sales pipelines, determining likely prospects, and creating value propositions
• Make chemical transitions with the customer, providing all technical assistance required
• Report weekly progress on your pipeline
• Comply with all applicable OHSA, ESA and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies
• Any other duties as assigned by the Corporate Account Manager or Senior Leadership team.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations within the past 5 years; no more than 2 preventable, at-fault accidents within the past 5 years
• No impaired driving convictions within the past 5 years, and no charges currently pending
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to travel several times during the month
• Basic proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs.
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Salary Range: $50-$52k CAD
