Responsibilities
- Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing
- Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques
- Conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques
- Conduct tests and analysis using spectroscopy techniques
- Maintain laboratory equipment
- Operate laboratory apparatus
- Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses
- Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques and microscopy
- Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments
- Compile records for analytical studies
- MS Office
- Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
- Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures
- Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results
- Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus
