Job summary

Eco-Tec, A Kovalus Separation Solutions Company, is seeking a Chemical Technician for our Pickering, ON site. The role focuses on bench tests, pilot plant studies, and field tests related to ion exchange and related chemical processes.

You will support lab and pilot-scale development, analyze data, maintain equipment, and prepare written reports for internal and external distribution. travel up to 30% internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical diploma or equivalent in chemical technology.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in an industrial lab and pilot plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Support lab and pilot plant process development, including setup, sampling, and data recording.
• Test and document results with clear electronic logs.
• Perform routine analytical and equipment maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Quantify components using prescribed techniques and develop new methods as needed.
• Complete mass balances and report findings for internal/external use.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental guidelines.
