Workplace Information: On site

Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35.00 to 44.00 hours per Week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Starts: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

  1. Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
  2. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
  3. Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  4. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  5. Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  6. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  7. Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants
  8. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  9. Recruit and hire staff
  10. Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
  11. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
