Chef, Ressources humaines / HR Leader

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an HR Leader supporting Canada based in Montreal, QC (Onsite). The HR Leader contributes to the overall business success by understanding the business to develop and translate strategy into action plans and driving the implementation of data driven people strategies through initiatives in areas such as total rewards, talent acquisition, talent management / development, succession planning, employee engagement, DEI, organizational effectiveness, business transformation, change management, organizational design and strategic workforce plans, tailored for the function, market and geography in line with the Global HR strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide HR expertise and strategic leadership to achieve optimal business results for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with local labor law in Canada
• Ensure positive employee experience, including operational HR Services during office hours to create a cohesive & collaborative team environment
• Consult and partner with leadership teams to drive all people topics and priorities, serve on site leadership teams
• Manage relationship with benefit brokers and facilitate Pension Committee Meeting and timely employee meetings
• Act as Team Lead for HR group

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field
• 10+ yrs in human resources related field
• Advanced knowledge of Canadian laws and compliance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French. English required for communications with teams or suppliers outside Quebec. The incumbent must work with a global multidisciplinary team.
