We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to lead the kitchen team at our brand-new aged care site in Toronto, NSW . This is a fantastic leadership role for a qualified chef ready to step into a rewarding and autonomous position — where quality food, resident satisfaction, and team culture come first.

  • Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Full-time role | 40 hrs/week

Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at our aged care residence in Toronto, NSW.

Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.

Roster:

Monday to Friday : 9am to 5:30pm

What This Role Involves:

  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
  • Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
  • Assisting the broader team as required
Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
