Job summary

WEPOINT Canada Développement is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of project delivery, from planning to close, ensuring deliverables are approved and resources managed to meet time and budget goals.

The role involves organizing, directing and coordinating human, material, financial and technological resources for medium to large-scale, cross-functional projects. Fluency in French is required and only Canada-authorized applicants will be considered.

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of relevant project management experience in large-scale contexts.
• Master's degree or postgraduate in project management (a plus).
• PMI PMP / MGP / ACP certifications.
• Experience in risk management and/or in a financial institution.
• Experience in a software integration project and platform change.
• Experience in the banking sector.
• Excellent communication in French (spoken and written). Only candidates legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop the unique project plan considering stakes, complexity, stakeholders and alignment with sponsor objectives; ensure coherence with the business vision.
• Collaborate with contributing managers to deliverables to meet business objectives and value within agreed costs and timelines.
• Provide functional supervision and coordination of internal and external contributors (integrator or others) involved in project delivery.
• Authorize change requests on resource plans and ensure quality governance and methodology.
• Develop risk analyses, impacts and strategies to manage project risk.
• Maintain accountability and status reporting to the sponsor, steering committee and other decision bodies.

Le(la) Chef(fe) de projet est imputable de tous les aspects de la livraison du projet, jusqu’à la fermeture finale, et s’assure de l’approbation des livrables. Il contribue au pilotage des ressources afin d'atteindre les objectifs visés dans les conditions de temps et de budget définies. Le rôle consiste à assurer l’organisation, la direction et le contrôle des ressources humaines, matérielles, financières et technologiques essentielles à la livraison d’un ou de plusieurs projets de moyenne à très grande envergure, à caractère transversal. Le(la) Chef(fe) de projet est responsable du plan de projet et agit comme point central de l’ensemble des contributeurs impliqués dans la livraison du projet (promoteur, gestionnaires et contributeurs) et ce, en mettant à profit sa compétence à planifier et à coordonner.

Responsabilités

• Être responsable de l’élaboration du plan de projet unique en tenant compte des enjeux, de la complexité, des intervenants et des arrimages avec les autres projets, tout en assurant la cohérence avec la vision des objectifs d'affaires du promoteur;
• En collaboration avec les différents chargés de contribution, être responsable des livrables afin de répondre aux objectifs d'affaires et à la création de valeur dans le respect des ententes convenues, des coûts et des échéanciers;
• Effectuer la supervision fonctionnelle et la coordination des contributeurs internes et externes (intégrateur ou autres) impliqués dans la livraison du projet;
• Autoriser toute demande de changement sur le plan des ressources et voir au contrôle de la qualité du travail et au respect de la gouvernance et de la méthodologie à appliquer dans le cadre du projet;
• Élaborer l'analyse des risques, les impacts et les stratégies afférentes en tenant compte de différents facteurs afin de gérer le niveau de risque du projet;
• Être responsable de la reddition de compte unique et des statuts d'avancement du projet auprès du promoteur, du comité directeur et d'autres instances décisionnelles.

Qualifications

• Plus de 6 ans d'expérience pertinente en gestion de projets dans des contextes d’envergure;
• Maîtrise ou diplôme de deuxième cycle en gestion de projet (atout);
• Certifications PMP / MGP / ACP;
• Expérience dans un contexte de gestion de risque et/ou dans une institution financière;
• Expérience dans un projet d’intégration de logiciel et de changement de plateforme;
• Expérience dans le domaine Bancaire;
• Excellente communication en français (parlé et écrit). Seuls les candidat(es) légalement autorisés(ées) à travailler pour tout employeur au Canada seront considérés(ées)
