Description

  • Leadership & Supervision : Inspire, lead and mentor a dynamic culinary team to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Menu Development : Create and regularly update menus highlighting seasonal produce, current culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Operational management : Ensure the smooth running of kitchens while respecting hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Financial Management : Manage the culinary department budget, control food costs, optimize expenses and maximize profitability.
  • Sourcing & Supplier Relations : Select and negotiate with suppliers to ensure high-quality products while respecting budgetary constraints.
  • Events and Banquets : Collaborate with the sales team to deliver memorable dining experiences at weddings, banquets and special events.
  • Culinary Innovation : Staying informed about new gastronomic trends and incorporating modern techniques to enhance the establishment's culinary reputation.
  • Guest Relations : Interact with guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Sustainable development : Promote responsible culinary practices, reduce waste and support local producers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role
  • Strong team management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment
  • Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
