Job description

Reporting to the Director of LTL, the Dock Manager contributes through their actions to the management of their team and to offering quality service while keeping the company's interests at heart. They must contribute to the optimization of performance and organizational efficiency. The sector head must act in four roles: Leader, Sector Leader, Communicator, and Coach. Note that they are responsible for the results of their team. The Dock Manager plans and ensures proper operational efficiency, work quality, proper use of equipment, and a positive working climate to always improve customer satisfaction and contribute to the company's profitability.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Manage the performance of their team to achieve objectives
  • Plan priorities according to the company's needs
  • Plan transportation resources
  • Contribute to the design of policies, programs, and systems necessary for achieving internal objectives and complying with legal and regulatory obligations
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve problems in collaboration with the relevant operational frameworks
  • Manage the budget closely
  • Perform all other related tasks
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a supervisor
  • Computer literacy (Office etc.)
  • Knowledge of transportation (LTL)
  • Ability to perform various follow-ups
  • Relevant experience on a loading/unloading dock
