As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure the delivery of the Starbucks Experience through excellent customer service, quality beverages, and a clean environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act with integrity, honesty, and promote Starbucks' culture and values.
  2. Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure smooth store operations.
  3. Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with the team and store manager to foster a positive environment.
  5. Support new partner training and provide performance feedback.
  6. Create a positive team environment and recognize partner achievements.
  7. Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude.
  8. Develop positive relationships with team members.
  9. Organize opening and closing duties and follow operational policies, including cash handling and safety protocols.
  10. Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to health and safety standards.
  11. Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments and use operational tools for excellence.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to lead and direct others.
  • Quick learner with effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail environment and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
