Job summary

General Electric (GE) Canada seeks a Lead Project Manager to plan and execute contracts from transfer meetings to managing QCD and delivery, ensuring on-time performance and high customer satisfaction for North American utility projects.

You will lead cross-functional teams, handle procurement, logistics, and finance, communicate progress to clients, and drive post-mortem analysis and contract change processes; travel up to 15% to the USA may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken & written).
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and compare with the GE quote during project transfer.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and assign roles and responsibilities.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics, customs, and finance activities.
• Monitor spend vs budget and report progress to the customer.
• Produce post-mortem project analysis reports.
• Prepare and follow up on project changes and service contracts.
