A high-end dining establishment in Toronto is looking for a Line Cook / Chef de Partie to supervise kitchen staff and ensure high standards of meal preparation. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in large-scale banquet operations, a Red Seal Certificate, and a valid City of Toronto Food Handler Certificate. A large centre bar area with adjacent stage includes impressive digital displays and serves as the gathering spot for watching the big game or other major events. The Chef de Cuisine (CDC) manages the Central Kitchen at an Eataly location, overseeing operations and plating focus across breakfast, lunch, and dinner prep.
As a Line Cook / Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. You will supervise kitchen staff, prepare ingredients, cook dishes according to standardized recipes, and ensure high quality, consistency, and proper plating of all menu items. You will lead shifts and support senior leadership, and you may be involved in mentoring, directing, and organizing the kitchen that services the Restaurant & Lounge, Room Service, and related outlets.
