Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Chef de Partie for The Stables at Whitby. You will take responsibility for your section, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced kitchen.

You’ll oversee food safety, stocking and compliance with legislation, work closely with the team, and maintain a clean, well-organized station while delivering consistently high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef de partie role in hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes to a high standard for the service period.
• Oversee food safety, storage and compliance with legislation.
• Collaborate with kitchen, front-of-house and management teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.

You'll Fit Right Inn

As Chef de Partie, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are paramount. With experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for food, you’ll take full responsibility for your section, delivering exceptional food service from start to finish.

You will oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation and company policy, working closely with the team to maintain high standards. Strong communication, time-keeping, and organizational skills are key as you collaborate with kitchen staff, front‑of‑house, and management teams. You’ll work efficiently under pressure, preparing food items timely and maintaining a clean working station.
