Job description

THE ROLE

As a Chef de Partie in our Lounge restaurant you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of standards in the kitchen and in the execution and delivery of all our Japanese influenced all day dining. You will work collaboratively with your team and assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of your section and the staff restaurant as a whole ensuring it's a great place for our family to eat.

  • To prepare, cut, cook, present, and serve food to the highest standards and to monitor the quality of food being prepared and served from the section by other staff members on that section.
  • To assist the Kitchen team in creating a highly regarded kitchen environment which meets the Nobu standards and expectations.
  • To maintain a clean and tidy kitchen with regular stock checks, labelling, audits, equipment checks, and adhering to all health and safety requirements.
  • To create, manage and oversee the smooth running of our staff restaurant menu offering.
  • To ensure all dishes are prepared and created to the highest standard with the utmost care in presentation. Our family are just as important to us as our guests.
  • To be innovative in your cooking style and to offer ideas on new dishes or specials that could enhance the staff restaurant offering in line with budget.
  • To demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to work.
  • To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
