Qualifications

  • 3 years of culinary experience required.
  • Red Seal certification is an asset.
  • Ability to think fast and react quickly.

  • Master new skills and oversee the food preparation station.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation for menus.
  • Support the Executive Chef in planning food preparation.

Advance your culinary skills and join us this spring at, a new restaurant and fully renovated kitchen , all part of an extensive $4 million clubhouse renovation at The Okanagan Golf Club . Along with its other locations in Whistler and Victoria, Table Nineteen’s cuisine is meant to excite and intrigue with globally balanced main and share plates – a refined culinary take with a sense of familiarity. Clever house-made twists feature thoughtfully selected and locally available ingredients.

Table Nineteen at The Okanagan Golf Club has an energetic and professional team that loves creating mouthwatering dishes and providing an excellent Guest experience worth talking about.   • Ensure consistency in food preparation for a la carte and event menus.
  • Enhance the menu offerings through creative menu development.
  • Oversee your food preparation station.
  • Prepare delectable dishes alongside the team.
  • Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in planning and directing food preparation.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create an unforgettable Guest experience.
  • Use your voice; we embrace new ideas.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3 years of culinary experience; Red Seal is an asset.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage industry best practices.
  • Humble with a willingness to learn .
  • Exceptional communication , organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think fast and react quicky with a calm mind.
  • Multi-tasking proficiency and an effortless ability to prioritize.
