Job summary

National Tank Services, part of the Trimac family, seeks a Licensed Mechanic in Saint-Hyacinthe to perform preventative maintenance on trucks and, when required, on trailers. You will work safe, follow procedures and use proper PPE.

Pay is $37.00–$41.00 per hour, with 4x10 or 5x8 shifts. Benefits include paid orientation, a pension plan after 1 year, holiday and vacation pay, plus medical, dental and vision insurance and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• La certification Sceau rouge constitue un atout.
• La certification CVIP constitue un atout.
• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Operation of hand and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE.
• Follow procedures.
