Job summary

Groupe BDL energie in Canada seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to design and optimize automated conveyor systems for industrial projects. You will produce 2D/3D drawings, select mechanical components, ensure equipment compliance, and collaborate with automation, manufacturing and installation teams.

You will support commissioning and after‑sales service, diagnose issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Member of the OIQ or in the process of becoming one is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial equipment design.
• Experience in conveyors, automation, or material handling is a significant asset.
• Proficiency in 3D design software (Inventor or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
