This is a temporary chef role at Barchester Healthcare, a leading UK healthcare provider with over 224 homes and hospitals across the country. The role involves working with fresh seasonal food, creating nutritious and well-balanced menus, and delivering high-quality hospitality to residents. The successful candidate will have a personable and warm approach, experience in helping lead and inspire a team, and a good understanding of nutrition and HACCP.
The job responsibilities include managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, working with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes, creating a warm and efficient environment, working within budget, completing regular audits, managing stock control, and assisting in leading and motivating a team.
