Job Summary
As one of our Production Chefs, we'd ask you to do the following:
Coordinate and prepare a large volume of meals daily following several different menus and concepts
Ensure appropriate portions and presentation
Plan production, delegate tasks and manage kitchen staff
Control and recycle surplus production
Assist with assessment of food requirements according to the menu and inventory, ordering the necessary commodities according to operational standards
Complete production sheets and/or register
Control the quality of commodities as soon as they arrive and rotate the stock
Place orders
Adhere to the budget
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and safety standards
Assist with service provision as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or diploma in culinary management
3 years of foodservice or related management experience in a high volume, food production environment
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Solid knowledge of hygiene and occupational health and safety standards
Customer service oriented and strong communication skills in French
