Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods in Halifax is looking for a Cheese Clerk to help customers select cheeses, slice, weigh, package, and price a wide variety of cheeses while ensuring the department is attractively presented and well stocked.

You will provide friendly service, offer flavour profiles and pairing suggestions, and assist with maintaining high standards of display, inventory, and cleanliness in a fast-paced team environment.

At Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods, our cheese market offers customers a truly unique shopping experience with extensive varieties to explore. As a Cheese Clerk, you will play an important role in helping customers discover new favourites while ensuring our cheese department is beautifully presented, well-stocked, and maintained to the highest standards.

In this role, you will assist customers by slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing a wide variety of cheeses. You will also help create attractive displays that highlight product quality, variety, and freshness.

You will provide knowledgeable and friendly service by advising customers on available cheese selections, flavour profiles, and pairing suggestions. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential to success in this role.
