Charles Joseph Plastering Ltd. is seeking a F/T Construction Estimator

Position Info:

• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $53.00~$56.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Number of Positions: 1
• Extended Health Benefits

Job Duties:

• Create estimates for material, labor, and equipment costs for construction projects using contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications
• Provide guidance on tendering procedures, evaluate tenders, recommend tender awards, and facilitate negotiations
• Establish and manage the tendering process, and implement systems for cost monitoring, reporting, and procedures
• Prepare regular cost statements and forecasts throughout project duration
• Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Collaborate and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors; conduct economic feasibility studies for adjustments to cost estimates
• Manage and coordinate construction projects, and develop construction progress schedules

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of related experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
