Job Description

We are looking for a partner with strong interest and expertise in managing and developing business relationships with our client Hydro-Québec in the telecommunications sector. This role involves leading the dedicated technical team and contributing to its development on projects with Hydro-Québec in collaboration with other managers.

We also offer a flexible hybrid work mode allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will participate in various engineering stages necessary for project completion, play a key role in team development and client relations, and be responsible for drafting and monitoring service offers in collaboration with the team.

Beyond leadership and account management tasks, you will also have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

  • Conduct site surveys, inspections, and prepare or validate related reports.
  • Perform technical calculations, create schematics, plans, and complete engineering estimates.
  • Contribute to the drafting or review of standards, technical guides, and planning documents for best practices implementation.
  • Assist in defining strategies, development directions, and governance of telecommunications network architectures.
  • Coordinate and participate in project management, including planning and document preparation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of experience in related fields.
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
  • Relevant experience in telecommunications, networking, and building or electronic systems.
  • Engineering experience in projects with Hydro-Québec.
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
