An exciting opportunity has arisen for Charge Nurses (qualified in Mental Health or Learning Disability) to join our innovative and dynamic nursing management team at the State Hospital.
As a Charge Nurse, you will lead ward-based nursing colleagues to deliver high standards of person-centred care and act as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. If you are a passionate, dedicated nurse with strong leadership skills, apply now to join the team at the State Hospital.
NHS Scotland is dedicated to promoting equality and diversity. The State Hospital is a high secure facility; applicants for non-clinical roles can be under 18, but clinical roles require applicants to be 18 or older.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship, as the hospital is not licensed to issue sponsorship certificates.
From 1 April 2024, NHS Scotland will implement a reduced workweek of 37 hours for full-time staff, with pro-rata adjustments for part-time staff, to be fully adopted across the hospital when safe to do so.
