Several locations available: Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Quebec City.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning port developments such as docks, jetties, marinas, ramps, coastal protection, breakwaters, etc.
  • Planning and leading multidisciplinary inspections of maritime and port structures, including coordination with other disciplines or subcontractors.
  • Analyzing project data and assessing additional study, inspection, and survey needs, including destructive and non-destructive inspection methods in submerged and emerged environments.
  • Planning, directing, and actively supervising the design of maritime, port, and coastal structures, covering all project phases from feasibility to detailed design, rehabilitation, and technical supervision of construction works.
  • Ensuring technical review and quality assurance of deliverables, including plans, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates.
  • Participating in the drafting of reports and technical studies.
  • Ensuring communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting project teams to meet quality standards, norms, and best practices.
  • Managing multidisciplinary projects, including proactive communication with clients.
  • Monitoring and controlling budgets, billing, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Constantly improving team knowledge on maritime market trends, sector needs, and innovative practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in civil engineering or structural engineering; a master's in a related field is a plus.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the maritime and coastal sector or related fields (heavy civil works, hydraulic structures, etc.).
  • Experience in analyzing, evaluating, and designing retaining structures, pile structures, deep foundations, weight-bearing structures, anchoring systems, and ship mooring equipment.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Quebec.
  • Bilingual in French and English is essential.
  • Proficiency with project management software and knowledge of engineering codes and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of technical design, analysis, and modeling tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and structural analysis software (ADA, SAP 2000, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and motivation.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Recognized teamwork and leadership abilities.
