GHD recherche un Chargé(e) de projets sénior pour gérer des projets de réhabilitation de façades et de systèmes de stationnement dans divers bâtiments. Vous utiliserez votre expertise pour planifier, exécuter et superviser les aspects techniques de projets complexes, tout en travaillant en collaboration avec une équipe multidisciplinaire et en respectant les normes de sécurité et de qualité.

Qualifications

  • Expérience dans les rapports d'inspection de façades et de parkings.
  • Plus de 10 ans d'expérience en science du bâtiment.
  • Membre de l'Ordre des Ingénieurs ou des Architectes du Québec.

Responsibilities

  • Planifier et coordonner les projets de réhabilitation des bâtiments.
  • Préparer les spécifications et documents d'appel d'offres.

We are seeking a senior project manager specializing in expertise and rehabilitation of building envelopes. Role of the Candidate:

The senior project manager will evaluate and oversee the restoration and renovation of vertical and tiered parking systems in existing residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role involves leading a team, coordinating with clients and contractors, and managing diagnostic studies and active construction sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to facade and parking system assessments.
  • Develop rehabilitation programs for building envelopes.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and tender documents for rehabilitation and upgrade projects.
  • Manage contractual and administrative aspects of building rehabilitation projects.
  • Supervise quality control during construction and rehabilitation.
  • Draft technical study reports and review technical deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and quality controls.
  • Meet with clients and prepare service proposals.
  • Other related tasks as required.

Support will be provided by a multidisciplinary team including project managers, coordinators, technicians, thermographers, and drone pilots.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in facade and tiered parking inspection reports (per Quebec Building Code Law 122).
  • Deep knowledge of construction materials and processes for designing and repairing building envelopes.
  • Experience estimating repair costs.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work at heights and in team settings; mentoring skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and client management.
  • Autonomous and collaborative work style.
  • Knowledge of the National Building Code and building component evaluation techniques is an asset.
  • Experience preparing project proposals is an asset.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Over 10 years of experience in building science.
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec or the Ordre des Architectes du Québec.
  • Construction ASP card holder.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
  • LEED or BECx certification is an asset.
