Overview

Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS) is seeking volunteers to help run our local STEM club. We are a diverse group including STEM professionals, graduate, undergraduate, and high school students, professors, parents, teachers, and more. This is an on-site, ongoing volunteer opportunity in Windsor, Ontario.

Be a STEM Role Model and contribute to youth engagement in science.

What you’ll be doing

We're seeking volunteers to help run our local STEM club. Regular volunteer opportunities with the local club include:

• helping to brainstorm, organize, and plan monthly events for members
• helping with activities and supervision at monthly events
• doing STEM outreach and activities at special events
• hosting a CAGIS event in your area of expertise

Requirements

We encourage you to share your interest even if you don't meet every requirement, as you may be a fit for another opportunity with our organization.

• Comfortable commuting to the opportunity location
• Willing to undergo a background or police records check
• Over the age of majority in the province of opportunity
