Job description

At Facet, we are proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Canada, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children facing critical illnesses through the granting of life-changing wishes. The Nova Scotia chapter plays an integral role in this mission, and we are searching for a passionate, visionary leader to step into the role of Chapter Director. If you’re looking for a meaningful leadership opportunity where you can make a real difference, this may be the perfect role for you.

As Chapter Director, you will lead the Nova Scotia chapter of Make-A-Wish Canada, driving fundraising initiatives, cultivating community engagement, and overseeing operational success. This pivotal role allows you to represent Make-A-Wish across Nova Scotia, strengthening relationships with donors, partners, and community leaders while aligning local efforts with national objectives. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team, empowering them to exceed goals and forge meaningful connections that bring hope and joy to children and their families.

We’re seeking an experienced and charismatic leader who thrives in a nonprofit or community-driven environment. You have a demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage teams, and engage key stakeholders to create positive outcomes. Your leadership style is both strategic and empathetic, driven by a genuine passion for the Make-A-Wish mission and the opportunity to inspire others—whether it’s your team, donors, or community partners.

In this impactful role, you will develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies, focusing on major gifts and impactful community events. Your ability to navigate the nonprofit landscape will be essential in mobilizing resources and establishing lasting connections that fulfill the wishes of children. This is your chance to create lasting change in the lives of children facing critical illnesses while leading a well-respected chapter within a national organization known for its impact.

If you are ready to lead a committed team and help grant wishes, we invite you to apply.
